Covered Bridge in Switzer

This Covered Bridge is still standing and can be seen today where it crosses the North Fork of Elkhorn Creek about ten miles northeast of Frankfort, Kentucky.
This scene shows one end of the bridge and a portion of the Old Mill Dam beneath it. There was also a spillway and the Mill House which is not visible in this picture.
This original was part of a private collection owned by Mr. and Mrs. McChesney of Frankfort. Mrs. McChesney, was also an accomplished water color artist.
